Central Valley convention, SacAnime, is fast approaching, and is bound to give attendees a busy and exciting weekend! The Sacramento convention is held two times a year at the Sacramento Convention Center and Sheraton Grand Hotel, and their summer/fall convention is just days away!
Every Labor Day weekend, SacAnime fills the city with thousands of guests, cosplayers, artists and anime enthusiasts, truly transforming the Capital into a place where “fans come to play.” This year, the convention has announced various guests of honor, events, and attractions that will keep attendees busy all weekend long. SacAnime has over 20 guests of honor coming to the convention, and most of them will be participating in free autograph sessions! Their guests range from anime/cartoon voice actors, Power Rangers, authors, cosplay senpais, and many...many...many more. (To see their complete list of guests, and autograph schedule and guidelines visit their website!) In addition to their extensive guest list (as if that won’t keep you busy enough), SacAnime also has a variety of events, panels, and attractions; so all types of fans will find something to enjoy. To name a few, there’s the Starlight Ball, Cafe Hoshi Maid Cafe, Cosplay Masquerade, KPOP Battles, various panels and workshops held by attendees and the guests of honor, and, of course, an amazing vendors hall and artists alley. With the convention coming up so soon, pre registration has already ended, but don’t worry! You can still buy your badges at the convention itself. A full weekend pass is $45.00, but if you don’t want to go Friday, Saturday and Sunday, you can buy single day passes, as well an exhibitor room only pass!
